What we aim to do is to 3D print a prototype of a hand prosthesis, with a very tight budget and only one month ahead of us. On this website, we are going to display every step of our project, in order to show that anyone can do the same as us. All you need to do is to go to the nearest fablab - we listed some fab labs in France’s biggest cities - with one or two things you need to buy first and follow our recommendations.

Indeed, we built the hand in just one month, spending less than 100 euros for it. And good news, part of the things that we did during this month you don’t need to do: the arduino program for example is already written for you, all you need to do is use it !

It works with myoelectricity: captors are put on the arm that receive information from the muscles of the arm. By controlling the activation of the muscles of your arm, you can make the hand move. It takes a bit of practice to learn to control it, but then it works very well.

Thus, what we are constructing is obviously a prototype which needs to be adapted to every person who needs it. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us. It is not a very technical product but can be used for simple actions in the everyday life, and, is very easy to make.
